Ensure you apply to clean, dry skin. No lotions or powders. You can also clean your skin with an alcohol wipe before applying. Press and smooth into place for a few seconds, this will help secure the bond.

Apply lotion or face powder to the applicable area of your skin before you apply a FootSoothers or NippleSmoothers. Also try removing the products in the shower with the help of soap and water or use baby oil around the edges.

Place a FootSoothers bandage on a table. Hold FootSoothers down with a couple of fingers. Then slide your other index finger across the surface and you will push the tiny amount of liquid to one end.  A tiny amount of liquid is all that's needed to help the shoe glide over your foot.
